Found A Decent Laid Back Summer Beer

Fri Jun 01, 2012 10:03 pm

I have always been a fan of their Sunset Wheat beer, but I finally gave Leinenkugel Summer Shandy a chance this summer.
It just had a simple lemon taste that wasn't overwhelmingly sweet like some other Lemon flavored beers I've tried.
I would easily pick this over Samuel Adams Summer Ale.

Here's my short(2 min) video review on it if anybody is interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vp-AUuHAiqk

My new fav summer beer is Lagunitas Little sumpin sumpin

Interesting half wheat beer that has an amazing citrusy aroma with the upfront hoppyness of an IPA that doesn't linger as long on the back end.

I'll drink SA Summer Ale (drinking one as I type this) over Leinie's Summer Shandy or Sunset Wheat. I love Leinie's as they are a brewery in my home state and have a lot of history, but they don't make any beer I could order a second of. They are a one beer wonder. Order one, then move to something else.

If you take what I post here literally, you're retarded. I'm here to fuck around, have a good time, and learn about beer. You mean nothing to me and I mean nothing to you.

I can see that for some beer drinkers.
