This is the funniest post in this whole thread!

Now if I could buy a BN Army hat with a propeller on top I'd be Rockin'.

http://www.geekculture.com/geekculturestore/webstore/caps.html This would make an AWESOME Brew Strong hat! J, are you listening? :asshat:

Feelings... all that shit everybody else said... +1 or whatever. That's why I love it here - "Don't be a dick" actually works!

The first computer I ever used was the Apple ][ with a nice green monochrome monitor - man I loved those things. The first 'real' computer I owned (not the trash-80 with cassette deck, both of which I still have) was some off-brand 8088 with 640k, a 20MB hard drive and a CGA monitor, running MS-DOS 3.x, and eventually a 2400 baud modem. I ran up many $$$ in long-distance charges with that thing calling BBSs (and war dialing). I remember upgrading to a 100 MB hard drive and thinking 'shit, I'll never fill this thing up!'. Ahh, the good old days.

But at least I'm not as old as some of you :asshat:

I'm ordering one of these bad boys... Oh yeah!

I may not have hand built computing devices but I used to hand build analog distortion/fuzz pedals for guitar and bass. I still have a drawer full of old germanium diodes and chunky old transistors and even a couple of early integrated opamps. Check this! I have an all tube audio frequency signal generator. Out geek that!

If J would ever buy hop grenade patches or Brew Strong patches we could make out own BN Army propeller hats.... Just sayin'..

The first computer I ever played with was a Tandy. You had to input this 7 page command just to get 7 fucking musical notes.

We couldn't afford computers when I was a kid. Hell, we could barely buy food sometimes. But I learned hot to "format c:" when I was 16. We used to go to department stores that had computers on display and format c all the time. Cause we were dicks.....REDNECK dicks from East TN who had nothing better to do.

I bought a Windows 3.1 machine in 98 (used of course). 500mb hard drive storage and 8mb RAM. Had a 14 kbs modem on it. I loved it... Was real excited when I bought a brand new gateway in 99 with Windows 98 (first edition) and a Pentium III. 12GB hard drive and 64MB of RAM. I remember calling Gateway to buy some more RAM. I paid $150 for 256mb. The guy over the phone said "you'll never use all of that RAM." LOL!!!

Amazing how far we've come....I can now buy food.
