I work for the local Bud Dist., i got a bottle of each of the above. I was hoping that they were gonna put forth some effort and try and do something with them but again dissapointed. the Irish Red is 25 IBUs it really is lacking in overall flavor what there is disappears rather quickly. color was good, aroma was lacking. Hop Hound Amber Wheat 5.3% ABV 20 IBUs Hallertau, Cascade and Willamete Hops. However there is almost no hop aroma. maybe they rubbed the bottle with the Hallertau and hoped it would get in there by Osmosis. it is unfiltered so the appearance is there, taste is clean but missing everything. So if you want to pretend you are drinking Craft Beer then pick some up. I am going to finish the Black Butte Porter i just poured. I will be getting some Michelob Dunkeweisse next so lets see how the butchered that fine style. until next time, prost! :aaron

I agree, both of those are average, at best. The Dunkelwiesse was a pleasant surprise. I pick it up from time to time and it was the reason I brewed one up this past winter.

A friend of mine once had an Oktoberfest party with all the Michelob "craft beer" series. Though I was happy to see variety there, they definitely all seemed very bland for style. Guess that's what happens when macro's try and make craft beer.
