Favorite beer recipes and styles? Well, my fav beer style is an American Amber. Rich, malty goodness with just enough hop presence to be noted and appreciated but letting the malt shine through! YUMMY!

Flanders Red, although some examples are too sweet for my taste - I like them a little on the dry side & extra sour.

Session beers - blondes, brown porters & more 'traditional' APA's. Sometimes I like to drink some volume without getting overwhelmed by the alcohol to the point where flavor perception is compromised. Not that I don't enjoy some higher ABV styles, I just want to be able to drink more than 1 or 2 & still be legally able to drive a vehicle.

Even when we were allowed to drive with an open beer the limit was still .08.

My biggest issue is that even at .12, I don't feel or drive (in theory, of course) like I'm impaired what-so-ever. My first concern is safety, but secondly what if I'm driving completely fine, feel completely fine & some asshole runs a red light?

You should try brewing the CYBI Arrogant Bastard (attempt #2 is the best one I think). A little out of style for an American Amber, but delicious.

I am all over the map on favorite beer styles. Sometimes I go on an IPA kick, but then like a clean pale ale. I usually try to keep some sort of pilsner around as a go to. I don't have any homebrewed ones but Mama's Little Yella Pils and Pivo Pils are my favorites.

It was hard for me to narrow it down too. I copped out with the session beers since it's several styles. :D

I like almost every style, those 2 just stick out a little extra, most of the time. I think a lot of us go on those kicks periodically.
