Anyone out there have Tasty's APA recipe handy? I tried the link to beer du jour, and can't connect. Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers! Kevin

Hey buddy, this is the version I did for the MHF and the Beer Cup. The grain bill is set for 80%. There is a slight proportion tweak with between the 2 Row and the Pils from the original but it is stll pretty close. I also brewed it down to 30 IBU like Mike suggests makes a better to style APA.

7.21 lbs US 2 Row
2.5 lbs Pils
1 lb Carapils
.5 lb C40 and Wheat

All pellet unless specified.

Chinook 11.5% AA - .26oz - MH
Warrior 15.6% AA - .13oz - 60 min
Simcoe 12% AA - .25oz - 20 min
NB 9% AA - .25oz - 10 min
Columbus 15% AA - .25oz - 10 min
Simcoe 13% AA - .25oz - 1 min
Cent 10.5%AA - .25oz - 1 min
Cascade AA doesn't matter - 1oz - 0 min
1oz Columbus, and .5oz each of Cent, and Simcoe Dry

Mash 154

001

I got a appropriate starter going and pitched it at 18 hours of growth. Pitched at 68, full krausen in 6-8 hours. Drove the temp up to 72 over the next two days and krausen dropped by day 3. Dry hopped in primary for seven days. Transfer to keg, crash, fine, carb, and bottle.

This was my time frame for the beer. Don't worry about doing it exactly the same, I was rushing the beer to have it for the festival and beer cup. Still let it dry hop for 7 days.

Hope this helps.
