So that would be around 1.093?

Is this a homemade clone or did this come from RR?

Looks yummy though.

that is 1.096, and its my recipe. I am unsure if it will be closr enough to be considered a clone but was definitely inspired by PTY. I am almost sure that my hop bill differs from what was used for PTY but its what I had on hand so I went with it.

Cheer,
HH

So I thought that I'd take a hydrometer reading and sneak a sample of this brew to see how the dry hops were coming. I got a great sample and transferred it to my hydrometer tube, drop it in, gentle spin and knocked the whole thing over. I luckily caught it just as the slender glass struck the sink and snapped right off. The larger portion of the glass stood floating atop the sample so I fished it out got out the "all-round" hydrometer and got my reading. Then I decanted the sample for tasting minus the glass chunks and tasted great, I will be kegging this batch on Wednesday. Final gravity looked to be at 1.008 just as I thought it would with Nottingham yeast so the abv is right on track.

I am looking forward to the carbonated product and also the input I hope to get from the TBN crew when I submit my brews.

Cheers,
HH

Although this is not quite carbonated enough yet, I really like what I am tasting in this beer. Still pretty hazy, but that should clear up some. I remeber that PTY was not sparkling clear either and wondered if excessive hops can produce a haze. The hop aroma and flavor plentiful with smooth bittering. It definitely lacks the lingering bitter that PTY had, but I think the hop oils they use may be the reason. I post a pic and review when its "done"
