Biscuit malt

I am still fairly new to home brewing and havn't developed my palate completely. I have had a few beers that taste a bit 'dusty'. I really can't stand that taste. I recently made a session brown ale with biscuit malt in it. I am not sure but could the biscuit malt be the culprit? Does anyone know what flavor I am talking about?

Does it taste kind of like Fat Tire? I think Fat Tire has a fair amount of biscuit malt in there. Biscuity is a hard flavor to describe but once you get a good reference you notice it when it starts popping up in other beers.

Sorry nothing to add, but that's just fucking hilarious.

Ziggy is right on. If his insight is funny, it's only because New Belgium sucks.

+1 on Fat Tire as an example of biscuit malt flavors.

Lol!!! That's funny. But no I don't think that is the taste. It's like drinking water from a cup that had a layer of dust in it. I guess I should take a sample to the guys at my home brew store.

I'm assuming your pint glasses are clean.

Or at least you rinsed the Flat Tire out of them
