Evenin peeps,
I have a couple ounces of Sorachi Ace and wonder if anyone has dry hopped with it and what were your results/flavor/nose. I made my little apa (1.044, 30 ibu) but was looking to change things up from my normal dry hop of 1.5 oz Amarillo .25 Columbus. Magnum was used for bittering and some Nugget at 20 minutes. Thanks, Drew

I've done it in a single hopped beer, SA all the way. I got big notes of lemon and dill, but can't attribute this entirely to the dryhopping.

I personally would use caution when dryhopping with this hop. I feel that it lends an intense, "fake" lemon pledge aroma to the beer. I think in small amounts it can be very interesting but can easily be overdone. I would not use anymore than 1 oz for dryhopping (probably more like .5 oz until you are sure you like it) in conjunction with some other citrus "c" hops to blend in with it. Maybe others will chime in with their experience so you can get some more ideas. Just saying what I have observed.

+1 I used 1oz SA dry hop on BM's Centennial Blonde, too much.
