Mt. Hood and Hersbrucker

I'm making a blonde rye beer similar to Redhook's SunRye which uses Mt. Hood and Hersbucker. I have no experience with either of these two hops. Im looking for about 16 IBUS with a fair amount of aroma. Anyone know a good hop schedule that can do this?
Thanks for the help

Sounds like a good candidate for late hopping. Don't put in anything until 20 min till the end. You'll have to do your own calculations based on your AA% and gravity, but it will probably be 2 or 3 oz at 20 min, then maybe another oz at flameout.
I like Mt. Hood as a noble hop replacement; the whole hops seem to be fresher, more vibrant than tettnang or hallertaur. Mt Hood is a little "sweeter" than the spicier hallertaur. A 1:1 blend of Mt Hood and Liberty seems to give a good approximation.

I would go with about 3 ounces of Mt. Hood (depending on the AA%) as first wort hops and then toss in an ounce of the Hershbrucker hops at flameout.
If you are doing extract instead of all grain, add the Mt. Hood at 20 minutes. If you are using a counterflow or plate chiller, add the Hershbrucker 3-4 minutes before flameout.

I like the idea of doing FWH, the more I think about it the less aroma I want. Im thinking
.25oz FWH Mt. Hood
.25oz FWH Heresbrucker
.5oz 60min Heresbrucker
.25oz 60 min Mt Hood
For a total of 19IBUs.
How does that sound?
