Has anyone heard or read anything about anti-foam being harmful to humans. I recently heard this and wanted to see what everyone else thinks.

Sure hope not, I use it in every batch.

I have noticed that my piss isn't nearly as foamy anymore though...

Not to steal the thread.....but, can one repitch from a batch that has had this added to it, or does it affect fermentation negatively in the subsequent batch?

I can't see where it would affect fermentation in another batch. If it did, wouldn't it screw up the original batch. I've only repithed yeast once and was using this stuff and it didn't seem to bother anything.

Cool. I was just curious if it would transfer deleteriously into batch 2 at all. did you still have a full krausen in the repitched batch?

Use it all the time, I have other things to worry about than foam control killing me, unless..........maybe it's the cause of my high blood pressure, high triglycerides, acid-reflux....... beats blaming it on the alcohol
