I like to bag my hops in the secondary for dry hopping. I want to get the sack to settle on the bottom of the carboy, anyone have any ideas of the best way to do it with out compromising the beer?

Use steel ball bearings and sanitize them.

Make sure they are stainless steel or use some glass marbles. Hardware stores sell stainless steel nuts and bolts but marbles are a lot cheaper.
Good luck! :jnj

Nylon monofilament (fishing line) tied to bag that uses sterilized nut as anchor, That way bag doesn't sit on bottom or float on top. Stays mid carboy.
