UV

There is a significant amount of UV in Flourescent and sun light. What about LED light? Its an arc, iiuc, and GTAW is an arc with a ton of UV - though a lot more power. Once the skunking process is set in motion, it does not stop - and presumably we'll all be converting to LED lighting.

Not according to this site:
http://www.ledlights.org/FAQ/Do-LED-Lig ... ff-UV.html

I figured they are biased, so I googled a few more, and the general consensus is that LEDs don't give off much if any at all.

I still will use brown bottles and wrap my carboy in a t-shirt, regardless.
