Quick corney question

Fri May 23, 2008 12:57 pm

Until now all my kegs have been pin lock.
I just took apart 3 ball lock kegs to clean before transfering and as the dumbass that I am forgot what went where.
Which post is in or out and vice-versa, the jagged star shaped one or the other?
Or, does it even matter?
Thanks,

The gas posts have a small horizontal notch on the base where your wrench contacts it. I'll see if I can dig up a pic...

The one not shown is one with the star shaped base (12 point). It is also a gas post.
