Glad I went here. I just picked up a used pony keg to start my 5 gallon system. I'll definitely have to check that out. Who knew????

Thanks

Thanks for reviving this zombie thread. I am aquiring a keg tomorrow and was gonna convert in to a keggle. As a matter of fact, I was just looking at some of the methods used by other brewers on youtube and such. When I got done, I decided to check the BN forum for any new posts and this one popped up in the active topics. WHAT TIMING! If I get this keg and it doesn't have the holes in it, this was definately fate. Someone was trying to tell me something!
Thanks for the info! :jnj

Just got my keg, and it has NO VENT HOLES!! I'm glad I saw this thread. I will be taking a file to the bottom of this keg. Thanks, BN Army. You potentially saved my life. Again. :jnj

Thank you BDog I had no clue about this, I just posted this on my club FaceBook as a public service deal, alot of my fellow club members are just getting into keg brewing for the fact that you can do 10 gallon brews. thankyou man. I think this needs to be reposted from time to time seeing as all the newbies like me getting into brewing every day.

Yeah thanks. I haven't heard that. I just looked at my newly converted keggel. I was about to brew with it for the first time today. No holes on the bottom rim! Promptly grabbing drill.
