Danger Will Robinson -- Exploding Keggle

Up in Michigan, a converted Keggle recently exploded during a mass brew session. Basically, the bottom rim had no airholes, and it gathered enough pressure to cause an explosion.

If you are using a keg, check the bottom to ensure that this won't happen to you.

Yes, sorry for posting this old news. I didn't notice the date in the NB forum. I just wanted to pass the word that this danger exists.

Thanks for posting that anyway. I just picked up a keg to convert the other day. This reminded me to go check. It's got the holes so it's safe.
