I don't really see the point of a $500 hydrometer for home brewers. If you measure temperature and S.G. together, you ought to be able to do almost as well as their claimed 0.0015 accuracy (assuming that they didn't forget a zero there), and even if you could do better, what's the point?

It says it also does alcohol %. It it does I know plenty of homebrewers who would fork over 500 bucks for that ability. It also could be good for smaller breweries if it really is able to calculate all that it says it does.
