You make my decision for 240V PID HLT and 110V PID RIMS a good one.

Is the gas valve proportional or digital (on/off)?

You could size the valve (referred to as orifice size) larger. Would assume you have a 1/4" valve body in there now - $50ish to go larger, say 1/2" body. Did Blichmann add any additional orifices to the system?

It's on or off, and you use your existing orifice. The Blitchmann website has the operations manual for the Tower of Power downloadable. Check that out. I should answer your questions.
