Will be in little creek, va. For a couple of weeks and was wondering what beers to try and bars to visit? I'm living in SoCal so I get a lot of variety, so I'm looking for something I can't normally get.

I'm probably not much help but I just visited VA Beach. You can find more Carolina beers, Sweetwater and Terrapin from GA, etc than beers from the Tidewater area. Look for beers from Devil's Backbone. There will be plenty of stuff you can't get on the west coast.

Can't help you with bars.

Check out Yardarm in downtown VA Beach. Theres also a Biergarten (sp?) in Portsmouth.

Microbrews, check out Beach Brewing Co. and YVBC (Young Veterans Brewing Company).
