Oxygenation without a flowrate meter?? Anyone?

Just wish I could get a wand instead of the stone dangling on the end of my hose. teehee.

It is much easier to get the job done with a stiff wand rather than a floppy hose.

Get yourself an old dip tube. They are onl;y a couple buck at your local homebrew store. A piece of 1/4 tubing to connect the stone and the dip tube and you are ready to go.

A good rule of thumb is you want your yeast cells to grow 4 fold. If you are getting that you are using close to the right amount of O2. If you have a good trub break it is pretty easy to measure post fermentation in an Imhoff cone.

Thanks Colin! I just brewed with the O2 for the first time yesterday, Wort is going crazy today! I did 1min at a rate that lightly moved the surface of the wort. Im stoked
