FG: 1.010-1.012 (2.5-3 Plato)
SRM: 3.8
IBU: 66.6
EFF: (?)
Mash Temp: 151F
Mash Time: 90 min
Boil Time: 80 min

Yeast: WLP 530
Starter: 2L
Ferm Temp: 74F – 84F (JZ - if pitching at 74F, hold at 74F day or two to hold down fusels then ramp up)
Carb: 2.5 vols

84.6% Pils (org. 88.8%)
15.4% Cane Sugar (org. 11.2%)

7gr Simcoe 13%AA (FWH)
23gr Simcoe 13%AA 80 min
24gr Cascade 5.75AA 20 min
24gr Simcoe 13%AA 20 min
71gr Amarillo DH

I think he carbed to 2.6 and I thought he said his ibu's were at 40, even though the website says 33.

I'm debating brewing this one it sounds good...although I might lower the batch size and bottle it.

According to BeerSmith, using Jamil's normal parameters (6 Gallons at end of boil, 5 gallons into bottle/keg, 70% Efficiency), I get:

14.67lb Pilsner
2.59lb Sugar

anybody brew this one yet? Did you ferment at 74, or was that too nerve wrecking to start that high?

Also, I live right by CLB. A friend of mine brewed this recipe. While I didn't taste it side by side, I can say, if this isn't spot on, it's pretty damn close!
