Did you get the same malt flavour as the original Dead Guy? It is definitely missing from my first batch.

I'm also curious about the Carastan. The only Carastan I can seem to find is 30/37L. If I use that, I come up with 11.2 SRM. Is it possible they meant CaraPils? If i use that, I get 7.2, which is a lot closer to the 7.5 they listed as the SRM for the beer.

So Tasty used Carastan Light 13-17. You can substitute Caramalt light (same thing, different company). Or you can use Crystal 15, which is what Rogue currently uses per the interview. I was confused and emailed Tasty and Jamil...

70%, I believe. Same as the recipes in BCS and all the other recipes on the Jamil Show.

I might have figured it out from working it backward. Is it 67% efficiency ??

I'm fairly certain it's 67%, after I worked it backward I plugged in their grain bill and amounts into promash, then backed the efficiency down to 67% and the SG came out right at 1.065.

Also with the IBU issues that were mentioned above. Their AA's are different than what are setup in ProMash. I changed the form from whole (default) to pellet and then adjusted the AA levels to what they stated 7.5% on the Perle and 7% on the Sterling and got right at 49.5 IBU's. So check the AA% on the hops you have then just adjust the amounts instead of boil time to accomodate the IBU's. At least that's what I would do so I still got the aroma from the Sterling.
