does this look like hops?

Tue Jun 05, 2012 3:15 pm

This is growing in a place where I planted a rhizome a few years ago and never saw any blossoms, always halted at the 2ft mark.
This year, this is growing pretty rapidly. Its got thorns on the stem. What do you think....hops or a weed? it was willamette that were planted.Image

It's a raspberry or related plant. Let it grow and see what it produces, but it won't be hops.
