It sounds like you're yeast is overflowing your fermenter during primary fermentation.
The first thing you should do is ensure that you have plenty of extra head space in your fermentation vessel.
For a typical ~19L batch (US 5 gallons), most homebrewers use a ~25L fermenter (US 6.5 Gallons).
Ensure that you have proper temperature control so that the fermenter does not get too warm. This has the added benefit of producing better tasting beer.

Finally, you can attach a blowoff hose to the fermenter instead of an airlock like in this photo. That way if it does overflow, you are catching it in the bucket or jug.
