Is there a way to clean up fusel alcohols post primary fermentation ?

not really. Sometimes they will diminish over time, though.

Yeah... best way is to not develop them in the first place...

Fusels suck! You could always age your fuselized beer for a while and meanwhile brew another batch and blend the two to reduce any noticeable alcohol aromas/flavors. Man, talk about headache central! Try to keep the temps of your fermentation under 68F for the first 48 hrs or so to reduce this problem and be sure to pitch sufficient amounts of yeast with proper aeration.

Been there, done that. My last batch with fusels never really went away with aging. I did'nt try blending but that may work. Man, these are such valuable lessons for us to learn for ourselves, then when the army tells us why it happened, it's like ok, I think I remember hearing about that. So we learn exactly why these process rules are so important. I think I've done almost everything wrong that you can at some point or other. What an education this is as we brew and share info together. My beer just keeps getting better and better. Thanks BNA :jnj
