Where Can I buy Cider Kits in Ontario

Mon Feb 16, 2009 9:10 pm

I am a long time brewer of cider and 8-10 years ago when I started you could buy the concentrated cider cans at Wine Kits and most any other brew place but slowly fewer and fewer places stocked them and the last place in my city, London, who carried them said that John Bull went out of business and that they didn't know where else to get them from.

I've been looking all over the place and I can't for the life of me find where in this country or even in the US you can but the 2 litre concentrated apple.

I would suggest looking for a local apple orchard that presses apples. Lots of them do concentrates. There is one a few miles from me that has the oldest operating apple press in WA, and they sell concentrate all year round. Fresh stuff is mainly in the late fall.
Cheers!

Hey Tavish, where's that at? What's the name of the place? I'd be interested in trying it out.

You have to treat her nice, and maybe buy her dinner before you can get in cider.

They are between Woodinville and Redmond on hwy 202 (really close to Redhook)

Minea Farm Cider, Woodinville
Address 13404 Woodinville-Redmond Rd NE, Redmond, WA 98052

If memory serves me, its $7 per gallon of cider. There a abunch of different blends and you can get pasturized or un-pasturized. Also if they are busy, and you need a 5 gallon carboy filled they might ask you to leave it overnight.
Cheers!
