Five Spice is a wonderful Wake Up for most any food. It is however, among the strongest of spice combinations. Use it in the most scant amounts. I mean scant like you had a miserly salt shaker of the stuff and you only want to put one shake in for a whole recipe.

That recipe was actually a breakfast sausage. That's why it included the Chinese 5 spice. Yum!
