Green and Gold Sock Day was a day initiated by Pacific Dunlop clothing manufacturer. It was held on 15 September in the years leading up to the Olympics. That day being chosen because it was Day 1 of the Sydney Olympics.

Justin said they had a inspection on Thurday which could be the final, but will most likely be the preliminary since no one knows what is required for the inspection so looks like it won't be anytime soon
