Went to Sodevo's place last night for barbecued burgers, yep 32% out in Brooklyn last night but had to be done.
Aquarium Drinker showed up as well and had some great home brew, a bottle of Russian River Supplication and Beautification.
Of course 90% of the conversation revolves around the BN and since we were swapping grains for upcoming brew days, the conversation of the 100 grain sandwiched popped up. We were wondering how much that would actually be so we counted out enough grains in the ratio to make a good amber.
Everyone else did chowed'em down like candy and so I jumped in as well. Not as bad as I thought, pretty good actually as it only took me about a minute get it to a full grist.
To top it off Sodevo brought out his homemade Kombucha (see link) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
I think Sodevo is actually a Doc in the making.
I got my grains in and some not too alchoholic funk in me so waking up this morning let's just say between the 2 concoctions I am enlightened.... so I say screw th cleanse.
