Subject: Linda Starck

Dear Friends,

Linda Starck, long time Brewers Association employee and friend, lost her courageous battle with cancer and passed this morning at 8:25 a.m. She was at home and surrounded by all of her family.

The family is planning a service and as soon as information is known we will post it at http://www.beertown.org/inmemoriam/ The Brewers Association has set up this page so people can write thoughts in celebration of Linda’s life. This will be the place to get updates and share your thoughts.

The family has indicated that the service will likely be next Friday or Saturday (March 1 or 2) in Boulder. No other info is known yet.

Linda’s family and friends are very grateful for everyone’s support. The family asks that no flowers be sent. Please check the above link for updates as we get them.

With love,

Nancy

I just love how all you guys are sad. I am very happy for her not so much the family but for her yes. She suffers no more is sitting in the great big brew pub in the sky drinking a heavenly beer eating a giant steak. I all ways see it that are still here in spirit but all ways in a better place especially after a fight with cancer.

Just curious, why would you love how we are all sad? I'm sad, and never had the pleasure of meeting her.

I'm glad that your faith lets you believe that she is in a better place, but I'm still saddened by it all and sorry for her family. Cancer is a horrible disease.

Image You can assure us of nothing. You may believe whatever you believe, but you are not the arbiter of what happens after death. Do not preach to me.

I did not know Linda but was moved by her story enough to donate to her cause. Her passing saddens me, as well.
