Hello everybody. We made it back from our trip today. It was a long drive and I am glad to be home again. We drove straight through going out and that about did me in. We split the trip back into two days. The Mrs and I thank those of you that kept us in your thoughs and prayers.
I found a homebrew store in Great Falls. Got to talk to the guy there and learned some things about all grain and about kegging. I picked me up two kegs while I was there. I also got the things I will need to make a batch of IPA all grain which will be my first all grain that I will brew this weekend. While I was at the store, I met a fellow by the name of Dave. He invited me to come over to his house on Saturday to watch him brew up an all grain. He has a set up pretty similar to the one I bought at the yard sale with the braided hose inside the ice chest. It looked pretty easy and Dave allowed me to sample his beers from his chest freezer keggerator. Shoot, I know now why you guys are into this homebrewing like you are. I got a little goofed up, but not too bad and you know what? I didn't have too bad of a hangover to drive home on Sunday. It was pretty late by the time we got all cleaned up after brewing. I think it must have taken about four hours. Does that seem right?
I brought home some more Big Sky beers and a case of Moose Drool. I'm having a Drool right now. But I need to get off here and go do something productive around here. I see brother Milt kept you entertained while I was gone. He is a windbag. Haha. He told me about the radio show. I still have to listen to that.
