yeah, you just have to get there early - tip the bartender well - they remember and will skip a sea of people waiting on their blueberry beer to get you a real beer

Gweedoe, you ever hit The Publick House in Brookline. You have to check that out brewcrew - make the time. Tons of Belgians bottle & draft, plus other 'here' and 'there' crafts. They started out as 1 restaurant/bar. Had to expand next door and open a second restaurant 'the Monk's Cell' and now they're opening a Belgian/import gourmet grocery store as well - it'll be open by the time you hit Boston. Awesome place

and then there is the Sunset Grill and Tap in Allston - 170 or so draft selections

Did the rumors of the Pirates trading Jason Bay ever materialize?

Once again, my 20-year hope for the Texas Rangers is renewed. They will be better, although that isn't saying much.

Not that it has anythign to do with baseball, but I like your Av and I'm a diehard Steeler fan, born near Pittsburgh. Here we go!

As for the Boston Beer Works, they were on that Beer Nuts show i was talking about in another thread. They had some excellent stories about their beers there. Nice lookin pub' as well.

Oh, and let's go Tribe! Cleveland all the way this year.
Ideating - Kolsch, Hefeweizen, Raspberry Wheat

The Pirates?!?! Ouch. I can't even watch those guys anymore... no commitment to winning from ownership. None since... what... 1992?? That being said, you do have to check out PNC Park. It is a gorgeous view of the city - one of the best skylines in the world!! Yes, get a Primanti Bros. sam'mich - Capicola and Cheese with an egg (don't forget the fries and slaw on the sam'mich)... SO GOOD!!!
