Chat doesn't work anymore?

Hey all,

I have been using the chat for a long time but apparently they disabled the older version of java on OSX (and windows I hear) making it impossible for me to use the chat. Are others in that same boat, and does anyone know a work around? I tried to figure out how to reenable the old version without success.

Same boat. All I have is a tablet, when I try to access chat it tells me I need software, I get refered to an app which isnt the software the chat is needing. Ugh
