Why were my posts deleted?

I have extra tickets for the International Beer Fest in Philly next week, so I posted in Beer Events, General Beer Related and Classifieds for soldiers to contact me if they want to go. No strings attached. No solicitation. Just trying to support the BN Army. When I went back to check, I saw that only the Classifieds post remains. Is there a rule against posting in multiple categories? I only did that because I know that not everybody checks the same sections. I was trying to catch as many people as I could while still being relevant in each group, because I only have one week in which to get responses.

Thanks

I think you hit the nail on the head. I have posted in thewrong forums once or twice. Then the Wrath of Code (Great flick. But JP dies at the end. Or does he? :asshat: ) descended upon me.

Not this time, but all of the mods follow the same rules so I'm sure there was a good reason.

Your posts were deleted as there really isn't a benefit of posting the same thing over and over. Most people use the "View new posts" feature which would show them your remaining post.

Thanks BadRock. I'm a technologically stupid asshat that never actually used the "View New Posts" feature, so it didn't occur to me that smart people would actually have an efficient way to move around the forums.

Can we still promote the "Wrath of Code" though? I mean, seriously, Angry Code is just about the funniest thing there is to see (as long as you're not on the receiving end).

It is a bit amusing to be on the sidelines.
