Tell me to relax

I've got a brew that's been in the fermenter for about 2 weeks. I've still got some white floaties at the top of my fermenter. I pitched 2 vials of WLP001, cause I didn't want to wait for a starter. I would have thought it would be done by now. It bubbles about every 30 - 45 seconds.

As long as I've been brewing I've never used Cal Ale yeast, is this normal? I note from WL's site that the yeast has "medium" flocculation.

Tell me to not worry, relax and have a homebrew, or maybe thoughts on what might be wrong. I haven't tasted it, I didn't take an OG, and haven't taken a sample since it began fermenting. Cheers

Relax, take a sample see what your current gravity is and take a whiff/taste.

It's all you can do!

what kind of temp control do you use? It's possible that the yeasties are confused, if there have been some wild temp fluctuations.

Give it another week. In the mean time, RDWHAH.
