Hi everyone! I just brewed an Irish Stout and added 4 Oz of unsweetened cocoa powder (I want the chocolate flavor but don't want it to be overpowering).

I'm planning to add lactose at bottling to actually sweet the cocoa into chocolate... how much lactose will suffice for a 5 gallons batch? 1 lb? 0.5 lb?

Long story short, I think 1/2# would be sufficient for what you are looking for in this beer.
