So I racked into kegs tonight and did not taste any obvious infection or off flavor, but as I said, my palate for these things is in early development. The recognition of the leathery smell was a bit alarming, but I do not taste it in the beer. Hopefully all was merely out of paranoia. I will have a local brewer give a taste once carbonated. All assistance is appreciated. FG was 1.010 from OG of 1.074. Going to let it sit until the Packers vs Seattle opener on 9/4. Go Pack Go!

It could've been some off-gassing that just smelled a little off. It could still be some wild yeast that hasn't had a chance to make itself apparent in the flavor profile. It could be your nose is more sensitive to something specific & everything's just fine.
