Thanks for all your help. I just brewed a Dubbel using everything I have learned from TBN. I know people say change one thing at a time but screw it, I like to work in leaps and bounds.

Batch #7 for me
-First Starter -made the jump to a stir plate as well
-Pitching Cold
-Not just steeping munch malt - minimashing as per Jamil
-First fermentation temp control (Ranco with an electric blanket in garage)

Thanks for all your help, ets hope it turns out ok!

So far so good. Fermentation temp pitched at 64 warmed up to 67 where it has been kept stable.

Started bubbling within 12 hours and bubbled for 4 days with the airlock slowing some each day.

Gonna give it 2 weeks before racking into a keg. I'm really excited for this one.
