Breiss Liquid Munich Extract

Quick question – I noticed that my local homebrew shop does carry Briess liquid Munich malt but when I look at the website for Briess (http://www.brewingwithbriess.com/Produc ... tracts.htm) I do not see it listed.

Does anyone know when Breiss stopped making this product, or is it seasonal?

Also does anyone have any experience with Briess packaging so I can figure out how old the extract is?

Munich extracts are typically seasonal, early spring to fall for some reason. Most are a blend of pils and munich or 2-row and munich, depending on the mfgr. The only supplier I've found that makes it year round is Weyermann, theirs is 100% munich.

That was another question that I had based on the make up of the Malt Extract.

When I was looking at the can in the store I could not see a % breakdown or is it was 100% Munich.

I just downloaded the spec sheet from Briess' website, it's a new extract this year for regular production.
http://www.briess.com/
Go to the brewing page, then products the malt extracts.
Hope this helps
