JP, Mufassa, and J at NHC
Michael "Mufasa" Furguson joins the Session this week to talk about traditional brewing, decoction, being trained to brew by Dan Gordon, brewery hygiene and brewing like a man! It's a show for the books that covers a lot of brewing topics and techniques and has more fun than we've had in awhile. Make some time and enjoy this show...Mufasa rocks...and JP is not too bad either. Plus a rundown of the new BN and some how to taste scotch tutorials at the end.

All Grain by Larry, August 21, 2008
My friend Wayne got me into brewing six months ago. He urged me to brew all grain and that extract was ok but i would be happier with all grain. We used his equipment the first time and it turned out great. I brewed an extract by myself and it was not so great.
Wayne Helped me put together what I needed to brew all grain. I have since brewed four more beers using the all grain method and have been very pleased with the results. I believe Michael Furguson is right all grain is the way to go. If someone wants to start brewing hopefully there will be a home brewer to guide and push them in the right direction
