Homebrewer Mike Mraz is back on Can You Brew It to attempt to homebrew Ommegang's Rare Vos. Rare Vos is a Belgian Amber Ale of sorts that is bold, complex and challenging to brew just right. Like many Belgian styles the yeast choice is important, as is the malt bill on this great craft beer. Tune in and find out if Mraz was able to nail another clone for CYBI.
So when they say at the end to ferment at 72-77, what exactly does that mean? That's a pretty wide range to choose from. Can any of temperatures in that range work? Or does it mean the temperature rises throughout fermentation? Just not sure what this means, and I'm dying to try brewing this beer. It will be my first belgian.
