Update: I had put on a second airlock on because the first one had been spooging away out of the top. I thought the krausen fest was simmering down, but I found more yeast coming out of the second one the next day. Then I lifted the top off the airlock and you could hear this hiss of releasing gas. I decided to leave the top off the airlock and put a loosely wraped small piece of sanitized foil over the top. I'm just gonna let it ride out fermentation like this for the rest of the time I think. Next time- just a foil cover.
