Welcome!

We all brewed our first batch at one time. I started with a Mr. Beer kit myself, back in 2002.
You'll have questions, so feel free to ask. No question is stupid. Ask away.

Lots of people did. In 1989 my then-girlfriend, Tracy, got me a Masterclass English Bitter kit (about a quart can of LME and a packet of yeast and hops under a plastic cap) and a copy of Papazian's "Joy of Homebrewing" for Christmas. It's been a fun ride!

There are lots of aspects to brewing, and the best advice I can offer is to have fun, and don't get overwhelmed. You conquer brewing the same way that you do the Hydra: One head at a time.
