Doc's Malt Liquor Recipe?

I think it is an interesting concept and when I have heard it mentioned, people talk about how good it is.

Don't know Doc's recipe per se, but I do know that Gordon Strong has a "malt liquor" recipe in his latest book Modern Homebrew Recipes. Have not brewed it so I cannot comment any more on it. Good luck.

I got enough from Doc to give it a whirl. He did not mention hops, so I will have to infer something appropriate.
