Ok, my first sour has been rockin' away since the first week of feb. so, I decided it was time to rack off and add some fruit.
I froze 4.5 lbs of peach and 1 lb of raspberry, then skinned, pitted and sliced the peaches. Then tossed slices and berries into the secondary, racked beer on top, sealed fermenter, plugged in my airlock.
A couple days have gone by and I'm seeing some activity in the airlock. My curiosity got the best of me, I opened up the bucket to see what was going on in there and I see some, if not all, of the peaches floating in krausen. Pretty cool but not what I was expecting.
My question is should I give my bucket a swirl to try to sink the floater or leave well enough alone?
