Being installed is a quad-core Linux monster, with RAID and lots of RAM & drive space. It has more than 4 times the capacity in almost any way you'd want to measure it of the server it is replacing. We're getting a new firewall for it too.
This process hasn't been cheap and is the first of several server swaps. If you can find it in your hearts & wallets to kick in a few extra bucks, it'll help pay for the new hardware and help me get some sleep. I'm not asking for sympathy, but I'm on call 24/7 with a phone by my bed to keep these old machines up, and that's the truth. Those calls have come at all hours 87 times since September 2010; let's fix this.
If you donate $25 or more, I'll personally write your name in permanent marker on a server top cover here. I'm serious.
Justin didn't ask me to do this, and probably won't be happy with the magic marker, but hey, I know how much this new iron & bandwidth costs and I don't make a dime from any of it, so pony up those Andrew Jacksons and let's ink in this cover.

Other browsers are similar. This is nothing new. It worked like that before the hardware upgrade.
