Well I got it filled up with 12 gallons of RV glycol from wallyworld. Fired it up and tried it out. It will chill the glycol to at least 20F, as low as my analog controller will go. With it at 22 my chest freezer easily get down into the 30s. Now I just need to finish the drums for my sanke fermenters.

Unfortunately I cannot see the pictures in the first post. :(

Have you really build the chiller on your own? I think I would not be able to build something like this on my own and due to this I thought about using chiller rentals. I think until I find a cheap chiller which I can buy I will definitely rent one. Has anyone already used such a rental?

Yup. Built it myself. The links to the pics are broken. Someone hacked my server and deleted all my photos.

I'm still trying to recover them.

I think I remember seeing it. You built it on a pallet, if I remember correctly? Damn hackers.
I think it was a white cooler, as well?

The pallet was wingstall. Mine was on a steel base I built from scratch.

I just checked the way back machine and at least the first picture is in there. You should be able to go download them from there and put them on your server in the same place.

I think it would be great to have the post have the pictures again, I remember seeing them when I started on my glycol project and they were useful. There isn't a ton of info on the net about DIY chillers so I dug as much as possible. I started 6 earlier this year but the project was on hold until recently, hopefully I'll be finished soon and then I'll post up some pics of what I did.

I have all the photos. Just have not had much time to upload them. Between losing the server, getting a new computer, getting a promotion, hand surgery, and just life in general I have been real busy. I am trying to catch up on a lot of things and this is on a list.
