Sorry about starting off on the wrong foot.

My way of thinking about it was if I needed emergency advice ie. my beer turned purple what do i do, it would have been quite a while before I got an anwser due to the fact that my question wasnt posted for 8 hours.

Anyway sorry bout all that. :oops:

If you have a purple beer, let me know how you did it. I've tried doing it but have not been successful, really. I doubt it can be done short of adding grape juice and even that would be suspect.

I aged a berliner weisse on apricots for 7 mos and that beer surprisingly is a pinkish almost purplish color! Go figure as apricots are not even close to that color. It is very strange yet deliciously sour!
