I think Jamil should do a CYBI of the actual original CLAMBIC!

I definitely agree, but doubt you'll see it. Jamil seems hellbent on only selecting beers he's interested in and of course, beers that the brewer will talk about.

I'd be more interested in the show if it attempted to clone the beers we're the most interested in, even if the brewer won't provide info. I am sure some of the most popular requests for the show are beers from Bell's, Three Floyd's, Victory, Goose Island and Belgian breweries where they simply won't give out the recipe.

I don't think that is a fair statement, even though I live in the midwest and love some of the beers you mentioned above. I think Jamil and the rest of the gang try to do their best to get a well rounded selection from all over the place. Now, I don't doubt that some of them are ones that the BN crew love themselves, and why shouldn't it be so. Also, it is a radio show, so, there are other considerations besides just the beer. I would think that having a brewer that is willing to share some information and participate in an interview would be a prerequsite, which I understand teh reason behind. They are trying to produce a quailty internet radio show.

Also, I am not sure your statement "I am sure some of the most popular requests for the show are beers from Bell's, Three Floyd's, Victory, Goose Island and Belgian breweries where they simply won't give out the recipe. " is an accurate statement. the most widely requested beers would most likely be ones where the highest concentration of home brewers are, which from what I have seen seems to be Cali, and then by distribution. If a beer is only distributed in one state, then there are going to be fewer people requesting it, even if it is a great beer.
