I do the same thing, thirsty boy, when I do a 10 gallon batch. 3 runoffs, split evenly, and the earlier runnings are on the burner coming up to a boil while the last set is still draining. on a good day I am at a full boil 10 or 15 min after finishing the runoff.

For 5 gallons I still do the 2 runoffs as Denny described.
