Does anybody know if the new B3 conicals will have leg extensions optional? I like having a more compact (shorter) conical so that I can fit my temp. control box under my bar. I was sold on the Blichmann 14 g until I saw this thread. Guess I'll have to wait to see what B3 comes out with.

The one I saw at NHC didn't have leg extensions - and they are not needed because you can pressure transfer. All you have to do is watch your poor buddy disassemble, boil, re-teflon tape, and assemble ONCE to realize that Blichmann has some catching up to do.

Ummm, I realize this is risky, but I don't disassemble, boil, re-teflon, and assemble my Blichmann for every brew. I've done it a few times, and it doesn't seem that terrible.
Aging: Gotlandsdrickå, Baltic Porter in Bourbon barrel, Olde Ale #2 in whiskey barrel

I do it with my current MoreBeer conical too. It's not a real big PITA but I'd prefer tri-clovers all around, not to mention a larger diameter bottom orifice (insert generic JP reference here). I will seriously consider the new MoreBeer conical when they hit the showroom.
